The Henin Group recently broke ground on Springview Woods, a new single-family home community with 197 home sites on Spring Vista Drive off of U.S. 17/92 in DeBary.
Jerome Henin, president of the Winter Park-based firm that is developing the Riviera Bella community nearby on the St. John’s River, said he acquired the 64-acre parcel from Springview Heights LLC for $3.85 million and started the permitting process in late 2016.
JMHC site contractors began clearing and road improvements in August on the property, the last parcel of land for development in the Springview subdivision.
Mr. Henin said the first phase of homesites will be ready in the first quarter of 2018 when homebuilder D.R. Horton will start construction on its first model homes.
D.R. Horton, the approved builder at Springview Woods, will offer one- and two-story single-family homes with from two to five bedrooms, prices starting from the low $200,000s.
